Royal Thai Embassy: “Expanding Thai-German business partnership for startups: Invitation to join ‘Startups Thailand 2019‘ in Bangkok 2019“



Since the signing of the first memorandum of understanding on the cooperation in the areas of
startup promotion and startup eco-system development last year, Thailand and Germany have
undertaken measures and cooperation to promote business partnership for startups from both
countries. At Asia-Pacific Week 2019, the Royal Thai Embassy Berlin has invited Thailand’s National
Innovation Agency (NIA), which is the key agency responsible for improving eco-system for all
startups, both Thai startups and those from around the world, and successful Thai startups and
Venture Capital as well as our German partner to the Embassy Day. Together, we will explore
Thailand’s ‘Standortsvorteil’ for German business and thriving startup scene in Thailand. We will also
present “Startups Thailand 2019” which is one of the largest startup events in Asia to be held in July
2019 in Bangkok, and the incentives for participating German startups.
