Panel “Asian German Digitization Hub: Collaborating, innovating and disrupting to deal with emerging innovation platforms”
The future of innovation is largely driven from Asia. Particularly China is becoming a key technology leader in the areas of Artificial Intelligence (AI), genomic sequencing, energy storage & e-mobility, automatisation and robotics as well as blockchain technology.
These new technologies will create innovation platforms upon which startups emerge, driving the technological progress to industry adoption. Business models of corporates will be affected in many ways and on a global scale.
In our panel we will discuss the view of the panelists on how they see these trends emerging in Asia and how their organisations are currently dealing with the changes and opportunities ahead. Participants will outline their experience of corporate-startup cooperation, tech scouting and digital transformation in their relevant industries.
Furthermore, we will be thinking openly about the idea of creating a platform between Asia and Germany in which large corporates such as Deutsche Telekom, Siemens or Henkel could jointly provide an ecosystem in which both startups and corporates can thrive and prosper in this fast changing world.
