Shoba, based in Berlin is on her third global start-up – Hardskills, a digital platform that enables enterprises to train workforces at scale in behavioral skills such as how to sell and influence, critical thinking, collaboration, etc. Hardskills’ is live in 18 markets including the U.S., India, Philippines, Poland and Italy.

Shoba moved to Berlin in 2016 to establish Hardskills. First a journalist for the Wall Street Journal in New York & London, she then co-founded, turned profitable and sold two start-ups in the media industry. Her last start-up was backed by U.S. Tier 1 VC including Softbank Capital & Hearst. Hardskills is backed by investors in Silicon Valley and Asia.

Shoba has a BA from Monash University, Melbourne, a MA from American University and graduated from Harvard Business School’s OPM program in 2000.
