Sayaka is CEO and Founder of re:terra, has a MA in “Human Security” and now a Ph.D of System-Design Thinking. After MA graduate, she joined IBM as business consultant. Now, Sayaka is involved with several projects in Japan and ASEAN countries to empower people’s possibilities through business.
In Japan, she has started an enterprise which produces natural cosmetics and organic tea made from local resources to generate jobs in regions affected by the Tsunami disaster in 2011.
In Cambodia, she collaborates with Cambodian women enterprise and gives training to disadvantaged women. Moreover, Sayaka organizes the Asian Women Social Entrepreneurs Network (AWSEN) which was established in 2014.
