Christine works for the ongoing peace process that aims to end the longest running insurgency in Asia. She is involved in the Reciprocal Working Group tasked to craft and negotiate the Government of the Republic of the Philippines (GRP) Draft Comprehensive Agreement on Political and Constitutional Reforms under the Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process. She is the founder and CEO of Rock, Paper, Scissors Inc. – a start-up company that aims to build a community of people and groups driven by social advocacy, innovation, and new media in a creative cafe/workspace in Manila.In 2012, she founded Change.org Philippines and single-handedly ran its operations for a few years. The petition platform became one of the most effective and impactful tool for civic engagement for Filipinos. Before transitioning to digital media and advocacy work, Christine worked as a broadcast journalist for five years. Christine took her Masters in Media, Peace, Conflict Studies at the United Nations-Mandated University for Peace in Costa Rica.
